ROSA ET AL Townhouse wide-open doors welcome you into our (your) home in Porto. The townhouse is a three-story 19th-century traditional house located at the heart of the art district of Porto. It won the “RESPECT FOR ARCHITECTURE AWARD“ due to the fact that it was able to integrate contemporary design with the original ancient identity of the house in a beautiful and seemingly way.
A range of vintage, modern and contemporary design pieces can be seen throughout the house including by Charles and Ray Eames, Jean Prouvé, Hans Wegner to name a few. The 19th-century house with its wooden floors, warm lighting, and luxurious natural materials is composed of suites, each with their own charm and distinct features.

As soon as you walk in, you will find our concept store/gourmet store where we showcase the best preserves and goods coming outo of The Townhouse Kitchen, side by side with the bes produce of the season and by our local partners and brands. Located on the same floor is the brunch room where we host intimate dinners and everyday meals. Overlooking the dining room is our lovely garden with aromatic herbs, tea, edible flowers, organic vegetables, and fruits.
At the end of the garden, one finds the Garden Pavilion suite, a fully accessible suite with a double-sided fireplace and a private patio. The remaining suites – two on each floor – have original wooden structure, decorative plaster ceilings and permanent contemporary art installations. On the third floor, you will find our luminous private library with a stunning skylight and a selection of newspapers, periodical magazines and other titles of our private collection.
At the townhouse, you will find a cozy and luxurious atmosphere that changes depending on the time of day and season. ROSA ET AL Townhouse has a capacity for caterings up to 45 people during the summer and 2t people during the winter and can accommodate a minimum of 18 guest up to a maximum of 32 guests. And if you need more space, we have off-the-premises pied-à-terres, accross town and additional rooms with our nearby hoteliers and partners for additional guests.
You can rent the townhouse as a whole or per space, per duration and the opportunity to add other services that can also be external. You can rent the common area or include the suites. For example, if you are celebrating an anniversary, an engagement party, a product launch or a corporate event you can rent one of multipurpose rooms or dinning rooms and include delicious food and signature drinks.
